so, I have a bit of a history of creative stuff and my teachers had often claimed me to be a “creative, smart young man” (you can take that with a grain of salt though, if you want to xD). and that started with 2 theatre dramas, one in grade 3 and one in grade 4; as well as Recorder Karate in grade 4 (glorified music class where you get a higher “belt” the more songs you can learn and play for the teacher); and b flat clarinet / bass clarinet / teeny bit of saxophone from grade 5 till grade 9.

but in those times, i didn't necessarily think of or desire to use these natural talents i had, which were given to me by God, for His Kingdom. or maybe i didn’t even think it was possible or that i “wouldn’t be good enough”. but if we trust in God’s sacrifice for us through Jesus, then we are made good enough. just like the apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth, “He [God] made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”[1]

and I was just not very confident in the talents I did realize I had and was pretty strong in, and I also hadn’t realized to the fullest many of them. (so, I’ll say to you; don’t worry if you haven’t find out really what your gifts/talents/strengths are yet. that’s what life is for!)

entonces, yo tengo un poquito de una historial de cosas creativas y mis maestros seguido me decían que era un “jovencito creativo e inteligente” (puedes tomarlo con un granito de arena, si quieres xD). Y eso comenzó con 2 obras de teatro, uno en el grado 3 y uno en el grado 4; así como Karate Flauta Dulce en el grado 4 (clase de música glorificada donde se obtiene un “cinturón” más alto entre más canciones aprendas y toques para el maestro); y clarinete si bemol / clarinete bajo / un pedacito pequeño de saxofón, desde el grado 5 hasta el grado 9.

pero en esos tiempos, no necesariamente pensaba en o deseaba usar estos talentos naturales que tenía, para Su Reino. Los cuales me dieron Él. o quizás que ni pensaba que fuera posible o que yo “no sería lo suficiente bueno”. pero si confiamos en el sacrificio de Dios para nosotros a través de Jesús, entonces sí somo hechos “lo suficiente bueno”. justo como el apóstol Pablo escribió a la iglesia en Corinto, “Al que no conoció pecado, [Dios] lo hizo pecado por nosotros, para que fuéramos hechos justicia de Dios en Él.”[1]

y no estaba muy confiado con los talentos en los cuales me di cuenta que sí tenía y en los cuales sí estaba bien fuerte, y también no me había dado cuenta de la profundidad de muchos. (así que, te diré a ti; que no te preocupes si tú aún no te has enterado realmente de qué son los dones, talentos, areas fuertes de ti. por eso es la vida!)
