hey there, my friend! so, i’d love to do this kinda thing for the full “Tron: Ares” movie (which is the third and very latest movie in the Tron series by Disney, and which premiered in late 2025); but for now… i’m just going to do it for what i call the “Empathetic Response” scene (???, i’m not sure what else to call it or if it has some kind of official name, but that’s just the name of the music track that plays during the scene).

so… if you don’t like spoilers, please go watch the movie for yourself! it’s on Disney+. otherwise, here we go! first off, i’m just transcribing the scene 100% accurately according to the official Disney+ Closed Caption (CC) subtitles & also the official Disney+ Audio Description (AD) as of 2026 March 07.

(Starting at the 45 minutes 55 seconds marker)

When the chain link gate beside a long building on a dock on the waterfront doesn’t open, Eve Kim reaches into her jacket and pulls out the drive with the Permanence Code.

[she grunts]

She snaps it in half and drops both pieces into the water. [Ares’s footsteps are approaching]

Ares reaches her and

Eve eyes him with a terrified expression. Eve: “What are you?”

Ares: I am Master Control.

A bewildered look crosses her face.

[helicopter blades are whirring]

They both look over as a helicopter flies toward them at the end of the dock.

Eve: What do you want?

Ares: I want the code.

Eve: Well… It’s gone.

[Ares groaning]

The lights on Ares’s suit blink and he drops to one knee. Ares: “No, it’s not.”

From the helicopter, Julian’s lackey aims the particle laser at Eve.

Julian’s lackey: I have her in my sights. Establishing connection to the Grid now. Ready to transfer in T-minus 15 seconds.

Eve: You’re… a program.

Athena arrives. She scans Ares and text appears over Eve: ‘HESITATION DETECTED’.

Ares scans Eve and her readings correspond to an ‘EMPATHETIC RESPONSE’.

[Ares is grunting]

Eve: You’re timing out.

Ares trembles as he gazes up at her. [his grunting continues]

Police cars pull up behind Athena

who watches curiously. [police officer*:*] “Get on the ground!”

From a distance, Athena sees Eve take a step toward Ares,

then crumbles into voxels. [, screaming*.*]

Ares disintegrates. [he groans]

[Julian Dillinger offscreen:] Transfer her into the Grid.

[Eve groans] Julian’s lackey fires the particle laser at Eve who disappears.
